I love developing fictional characters for stories!
Character development is my favourite thing!
I was born in Croatia and grew up on an island in the Northern Adriatic. I always loved drawing and spent hot summer afternoons drawing, waiting for the cool breeze of dusk. My brother and friends and I would often head for the little port to sell our old comic books and shells. We also built fantastic dens all over the island!

I love creating bonds and friendships between characters, setting them off on different adventures and communicating the feel of collective achievement and the rewards of teamwork.
I still remember when my brother and I built a small boat and set sail together with our dog. Halfway through it started sinking but we had buckets and an oar and managed to sail to safety before it sank. That was great teamwork!
And that’s the magic that I’m interested in creating in my books!
I studied Graphic Design in Croatia and then Fine Art in Italy. I went on a short trip to the UK to visit my husband's grandma and... we are still here after many years! London is a great place. I love the diversity of people and different cultures.

I have an MA in Children's Book Illustration from Cambridge School of Art (Anglia Ruskin University).
